I have the dh98 from sim outhouse that is in my fs9 folder. Thought I would try it out in fsx because it works well in fs9. But an error message comes up saying "visual model could not be displayed" is there a fix for this or is it strictly an fs9 model. This is the first time I have seen this error.

If this is the file I'm thinking of it's most likely a CFS2 model created in FSDS2. In this case it will not be compatible with FSX. This might also depend on which version of FSX you have. The RTM original, SP1 or SP2.

Whatever version of FSX he has, an aircraft model for a flightsim that's pushing nine years old will have problems in FSX

Yes I believe it was a cfs2 model modified for fs9. Guess its back to fs9 for it!
