Dumb Question #532:

Just for the heck of it, I decided to try the lessons tonight. (Never tried them before). I started from the beginning, tootled around with the ultra-lite "kite," for the first few lessons (the default craft), and noticed when I moved my joystick hat around, it looked up, down, l, r,...just like turning my head. Very cool!

Sounds like you like the VC, and the snap to snap is the 2d panel.

As long as you're in a learning mood, start the sim and click on the 'Learning Center'.

Also, before jumping into a cigar tube, start out low and slow with the basic flight lessons, and then head down to the flightschool board and read through Brett Henderson's PPL course ;)
