I have installed and removed and then reinstalled again, But I am still getting some kind of hiccup that makes FSX just blank out. the sound is still running but can't see a darn thing. Any help that any body can give me would be great.

You have posted two threads in the FS 2004 forums and the FSX forums. The threads are identical except for replacing the sim you use.

You did not post specs, or what addons you installed before you had this problem. This information is critical for us to diagnose the problem.

One question remains...is this help for FSX or FS 2004 as the problems are identical.

Has this problem always been there, or has FSX only recently doing this.

I would check your display drivers and update them to 174.74 if you have a nvidia card.

Check that your pc has all recommended updates also.

The only reason I have put 2 postings is because FSX and FS 2004 are 2 different flight Sims, no I have not add any addon yet, and yes I have my graphics cards up to date in fact I just updated them this morning. Also I have the most current patches for both Sims.

Have you downloaded all windows Automatic updates aswell?

Sounds like a driver or DirectX issue

What is your PC Specs? Any hardware recently added, as it cold be your PSU.

Try removing and reseating the cards, switch them around on the motherboard.

Glad you got it sorted!!

I had a similar issue with Ram suddenly not showing and simply had to reseat them.

Strange, but works.

Good luck
