Posted: Sat Sep 13, 2008 1:52 pmDoes the setting of the resolution affect the performance of the game? I got mine set at 1280x1053x32.
This is purely depending on your video card.
My 8800 is performing OK at 1680x1050.

In x16, you will get less colors, so the "degrade" will look ugly.
Take a look at the sky at dawn, once in x16 and once in x32, and you'll understand the difference.
