I think this is caused by installing FS9 aircraft to FSX. There is a basic difference in the Aircraft.cfg ui_xxxx entries. It's easy enough to modify them. This is a typical FSX entry. Note the inverted commas.

[fltsim.0]
title=Beech Baron 58 Paint1
sim=Beech_Baron_58
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=1
kb_checklists=Beech_Baron_58_check
kb_reference=Beech_Baron_58_ref
atc_id=N71FS
ui_manufacturer="Beechcraft"
ui_type="Baron 58"
ui_variation="White/Blue Stripes"

ui_typerole="Twin Engine Prop"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"
description="With the wonderful control harmony that is the hallmark of the Bonanza line, the Beech Baron 58 is considered a classic light twin. The Baron 58 is the spiffed-up version of a time-tested favorite, made more modern by its new Continental Special engines. The Baron combines the attractiveness of Beechcraft design with the reliability of twin engines, resulting in a gorgeous workhorse of an aircraft."

You could add some thumbnails to the Texture folders while you're about it.

I don't think that's it, as it happens with FSX planes as well.

The problem starts by the default C172, and is consistent all the way down.

EDIT:

NVM, I fixed it. Deleted the FS9 C150 I installed yesterday.

Everything's back to normal now :)

You kinda led me onto the idea, so thanks :)

It was probably that one that upset the whole lot. Try reinstalling it after adding the quotes to the Aircraft.cfg entries.

Just tried looking through the .cfg file, and it definitely isn't how it should be...

Not sure if I wanna bother changing it, it's a big file, and the gauges are messed up, and I'm too lazy to do anything about it  ;D

Suit yourself. Adding those quotes would take a couple of minutes at the most. At least you know what's causing it if it happens again.

Thats definately all thats required to right it.  If you`re not prepared to work at fixing it then perhaps you shouldn`t post with a problem again.  People go out of their way to help and you slap them down by saying you can`t be bothered!  Like Hagar said it takes minutes.  I then keep a copy of mine for when I reinstall.  Less work the next time, its just basic house keeping.

Wow, calm down dude.

I got the problem fixed, and I thanked Hagar for the tip.

What more is there to it?

I didn't even like the plane...

Aero sucks up some resources, so I first used basic when flying, but since went to classic, as I reckoned it'd use even fewer resources...
