One More Sound Question (Proper Settings)?

Hey All,

can anyone tell me what a good sound configuration is? I listen to my aircraft sounds with vlc player etc., but when I load up FSX and take the plane out for a flight I cannot clearly hear all the the sounds that the plane makes. Sometimes I can bearly hear ATC because the sounds are out of whack (I guess)!

I am not sure what volumes to turn up or down, so i was wondering if there was an ideal setting for all sounds that would keep things in a good "balance" so that I can pretty much hear everything (flaps, ATC, gear up/down, etc.)
