views from cockpit

OK I know this has been covered and probably many times. My attempt to search it didn't give me anything. I have downloaded a couple of really good planes (one, the socata 700 today) that were from the last versoin of Flight sim. The problem that I am having is that I cannot use the virtual cockpit at all because the windows are a dark grey reflection of the interior. When I am in 2D and look out of a side window I can see for a second and then it goes to the dark reflection. I am using Flight Sim X acceleration. I would appreciate any ideas on how to clear this up as I am missing out on several great aircraft. Thanks

It's about editing some textures to make them transparent again.
Go read the FAQ, the entry about the canopy of the F-16. You will understand what has to be done there, and you'll just have to find which texture is concerned in the Socata's folder.

I have the same problem with Socata 700 and the FAQ named: "F-16 Glass FIX found for FSX/XP" I connot open. Error message: "Unable to open ./Messages/121480406980.txt"

Could anyone help me to solve the problem please ??
