Setting up VISTA for FSX?

I've seen the thread about setting up Windows XP for FSX. Is there anything I need to do for Vista Home Premium? It's up to date now and I am running FSX with Acceleration. I also have 4gb RAM.

Any hints for Vista?

I didn't do anything special to mine on Vista, and it works just fine.  I don't have acceleration, however.

But there are some tweaks, like turning off background apps, like "aeroshell" or whatever it's called.  I tink there's some info in the "sticky" topics right above the main FSX forums.

'Aero' automatically switches to basic when starting up FSX, because FSX isn't Aero-compatible.

Doesn`t turn it off completely though, still problems on some systems. Best to change the theme, even having a shortcut for a basic and a Vista theme on the desktop.  People have relied on the knowledge that its allegedly stopped in the past, only to find their were still remnants left on.  It depends on the system if it effects it or not.
