Corrupted Copy of FSX

I seem to have so many problems with FSX that it is making the experience of flying an aircraft totally un-enjoyable as I am always trying to solve a problem, either with an add on or some odd performance problem.
Could it be that the FSX version that came on the discs which I bought at the store is corrupted in some way?
I've done so many reinstalls and most of my problems always return, mind you I've tried it on two different systems. All of my other games work fine.

Well, anything is possible but highly unlikely. Corrupted discs usually result in a failure toinstall. From reading some of your other posts, I would suspect that either your system is not configured properly and has issues or FSX is not set up correctly. The fact that other games run fine has no bearing on it. FSX is very demanding and if your system has issues it will make things worse.
Also, in reading some of your other posts, I get the impression that you are trying lots of addons. that could also be a source of your problems. Just because someone has said thet the add-on is FSX compatible doesn't necessarily mean it will work properly. If something has been designed from the ground up to run under FSX, then it will work.
Search these forums for NickN's guide on setting up your *system* to properly run FSX. Once you have a stable platform, then you can try adding things one at a time.

Also make sure after you uninstall FSX to completely remove all of the folders .[glow=yellow,2,300]including the FSX cfg file[/glow] :P
