Try running your scenery to max, and check advanced animations.

Did you try it with a default plane? Some add-ons don't have the jetway function.

The jetway in FSX is pretty strange, sometimes I spawn at the gate, and the jeyway doesn't work, other times it works just fine. I think there are some bugs with it, and I hope Microsoft works them out in the next version.

I would just try spawning at different gates, maybe even with different aircraft, and see what happens.

Turn the scenery complexity up to very dense.

Turn the scenery complexity up to very dense.

Wont do anything except see more of them

Some video cards don't support this feature, what are you using?

Also the checkbox "Advanced Animations" must be ticked. Go into the settings menu, hit customize and it should be on the first page.
