I have downloaded scenery of the Island of Alderney, Channel Islands, all is well, except that the trees near the Airport Buildings all have black square back ground. I would include a screen shot if only I knew how to get an image onto a post.If anyone has encountered this problem with FSX addon scenery and come up with a fix, i would be pleased to hear from you.
I have a theory for what its worth! I took the download from this site`s old files, I have SP1 and SP2 installed on my FSX sim could this be the cause.
I forgot to add, all the other trees are fine its just the area around the airport buildings.

The 'black square' around trees sounds like you have scenery designed
for FS9 that uses a technique that is not supported by FSX.

I've seen that on a few sceneries I've 'imported'. The only 'fix' is
to identify the files that contain the trees and remove those files
or if the trees are embedded in the main file, disassemble the BGL
and see if you can remove the tree statements in the SCASM code.
Not something for a novice or faint of heart....
