757-300 Wrong Seat.

757-300 Wrong Seat.

Postby Flying Mouse » Tue Aug 05, 2008 1:13 am

I downloaded this bird found @ http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=60&page=1000 Last download:

Problem is after I installed the plane and launch a flight I find myself sitting in the seat behind the pilots seat. Should have taken a pic of it I know.

I tried to change views but when selecting VC I return to the seat behind the pilots seat (Engineer seat).

Anyone know how I can fix this?

Running FSX SP2 with Accel.

Thanking helpers in advance

You may need to simply change the eyepoint views in the cfg file. I would download and check it out, but i'm going to bed right now... ;)

Thanx for the info  :) I thought that might have been the case.

Just don't know how to set it to the right view point  :-/

I think posky has a 757 Thomas Cook...

You can try that but it probally doesent have a cockpit.

Has anyone changed the eyepoint view #'s  in the aircraft.cfg. I have been fooling with the numbers with no luck. I will keep trying, if anyone gets it before me please post.
Thanks

Below are the original eyepoint and the corrected version. This fixes all the alternate camera views (Right seat, etc) as well.

[Views]
// eyepoint=80.4, -2.10, 5.30   //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum
eyepoint=81.9, -1.90, 5.30   //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum
