I have acceleration but I want payware planes that are not compatible with Acelleration. I was thinking about keeping the aceleration planes but getting rid of acelleration by keeping the plane's files, uninstaling fsx completely, installing it back on, then putting the planes (F-18) back in their respected files. Would it work?

No, modules are needed for the Acceleration planes to work. For example, do what you said, and keep the F/A-18, the Nozzles in the rear are crunched up, because a module Acceleration has controls them

You're not the first person who has to get rid of older aircraft models in the hangar due to incompatibility issues, nor will you be the last. But it's the cost of advancing FS technology, so we do what we can

As already stated, that won't work...

However there's nothing stopping you from making a complete copy of the current installation, and creating a new desktop shortcut to launch the FSX Acceleration version.

Then, take the original and uninstall Acceleration...
