questions with FSX install

I have just installed FSX on my wifes new comp. "Vista"  I have just returned from Iraq and am not at all fimilar with this program .
My problem is that after load up  I have no shortcut and the program does not show in the programs list. (i have to go into the c drive to find it)
DID I miss something or is this a commen problem  can any one give me a clue to fix this ?

In Vista, go to your games folder (with Solitaire, Chess and all that).

It should be there.

You can drag the icon onto your desktop, and create a shortcut that way

It had not shown up in the games folder but i found that I could do  games search in that folder and it pulled it into the folder  thank you for the help
