What is the force/rate/effect called that governs an airplanes roll rate AFTER the ailerons have been centered? Most planes in a hard roll seem to stop without TOO much excess roll after the ailerons are centered. I have seen one or two that will roll another 70-90 degrees afterwards. Is there something in the .cfg file than can alter this?

As far as i know-you can't change the inertion airplane roll in any .cfg file of aircraft...

Looks like MS just forgot about this force...darn...

I believe the behavior would be tied to the MOI values.

heavier MOI's will increse the planes resistance to change direction, like when you pull up suddenly it'll keep going down.
the effectiveness values, are well, effecteviness values. example: if you changed the rudder value to 2 it would casue twice the effect of a normal rudder (and maybe even more rolling). I'm not famillier with the stability values though. I'll go experiment with em.

FSX also does some filtering on the joystick position. If you rapidly center the joystick, the ailerons will lag behind. If you've got a good joystick that doesn't have noisy pots, you can reduce or turn off the filter.
I believe it is poorly labeled as "Sensitivity" somewhere in the joystick setup.
