Will this Laptop "Do" for FSX DX10

I am considering purchasing the following laptop as a desktop replacement:

Gateway P-173XL FX Edition
Intel C2D T8300 2.4 GHz 800 FSB
4GB DDR2 Ram
2-200 GB SATA 7200 RPM in a RAID 0 Configuration
GeForce 8800M GTS 512 MB
Windows Vista Ultimate with SP1

There seems to be so many threads on Vista/Acceleration/Etc, I don't know where to start.  I just want whatever amount of DX10 eye candy I can get.

Right now I have FSX Deluxe installed on XP Prof desktop, but I'm going to uninstall so I can place on laptop.  Besides updating the video drivers, , and Vista updates, is there anything else I need to do before installing to this laptop?

Do I need the Acceleration pack, or just Sp1 and Sp2 to get the DirectX 10?

Thanks in advance.

You probably won't get good DX10 performance outta that, but you'll be able to run FSX just fine :)

Thanks.  800FSB that's going to bottleneck it?

My XP desktop E6600 runs at 1066 and I get ~30FPS, less in heavily congested, but never lower than 15 or so and that's just for the take off roll, after that they climb along with the aircraft ;)

Would the same laptop setup, but with an X9000 (Extreme Edition 2.8 GHz) really improve it, or do I need to move on to next generation of boards coming out with larger FSB?
