Restoring Missing Canopies?

A lot of the FS9 => FSX add-ons seem to lose thier canopies. I thought I had seen a thread some time ago about how to restore the glass, but I cannot seem to find it. Am I imagining things, or am I SOL?

This is a compatibility issue for a lot of older FS9 models being used in FSX/SP2. I don't know if there is a way to make glass visible or not

It depends on the modelling of the canopy.
If it's made from a semi transparent 3D material (FS98-style), I believe you have no soution.
If instead it's made with a semi-transparent texture, then the edition of the texture might do the job, just like for the props.

Thanks. No SP 2, however, just SP 1. If I am not seeing a "glass" texture map, then it's a good bet that I'm SOL. No bit deal, just one of those little details that you "takes your chances" with when converting up.
