I have a nvidia fx 5200 256mb, (yeah I know it's not great) and I am going to install fsx tomorrow. Can it get the water reflections etc.

Regular ol' FSX will do that if you set your water to the high end in the custom scenery settings

(add)  By that I mean even without a graphix card.
