I would have anther go at the latest version of nhancer and try 175.19 drivers for vista.

follow the directions on here for nhancer http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 08959973#5

If you prefer no to then try changing these.

You should try reducing your Antialiasing to 8x or 4x, texture clamp=on.

Reduce your resolution in fsx to 1600x1200, try FPS=30, Anti Alisasing CHECKED. (if not using nhancer, fsx antialiasing should be checked).

Mesh resolution, try 38.
Water effect, low2x, or med 2x.
Scenery complecity= very dense

Try these for a Start off.

175.19 is a driver that is screwed up, as it gives you a huge decrease in performance reportedly.

I just did nick's 174.74 and it works fine, better than 175.16 !

The fsx settings I was using nick were modified mulitple times by me in experimenting with different settings.  the GEX and UTX settings I was referring to, I believe you had some suggestions some where else I saw and used.  Eitherway...here is where I am at.

Installed 174.74 drivers and latest version nhancer which seems different from what I had a while ago.  Configured based on what you have in the thread and rikm's suggestions except for screen res seems to work pretty well. The jags are mostly gone and nearly eliminated.  I have to run resolution at my monitors native res of 1920x1200 otherwise things look washed out/blurred or something weird- just not crisp. I will go through the other thread and make FSX settings as suggested.

Thanks for the help!
