Airport Flash

Let me explain my question. I fly VFR alot, when approaching an airport during daytime flight the runways will flash so you can get thier orientation. Is there a setting to make the flashing more frequent?
Thanks in advance

I have seen this sometimes as well.  I think though that it is just the scenery loading into the game, and not some setting that you can control.  Most of the time when I see it happen, it is green and is comprised of grid-lines, kinda like the underlying framework of whatever scenery is loading (mostly runways).  Hope that helped some.

Yeah, the runways are not suppopsed to "flash" as you described.
There must be something wrong the way your sys handes those textures, etc.

flash is a sign of a system that is overloaded and the priority system is behind

There are confirmed reports of light textures producing 'black box' flashes as the view changes.. another priority problem in itself.. seeing GREEN runways and airports is a sign of a saturated buss and settings too high for the system which can also be caused by installed and running processes in the background, or just plain slow hardware
