To a joystick axis? I've managed to set collective with the throttle unit with my X-52 but can't figure how to set the twist to another axis, ie the slider near your thumb. I can't find which setting in FSX matches up with the one I need.

The twist throttle will respond to the same control axis you have assigned to 'propeller axis'.
