A couple of weeks ago someone mentioned wanting after burner effects on the XB-70.  I don't remember if it was for FSX or FS9.

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0=-75.00, -2.30, -6.00,  fx_nimrod_smoke
smoke.1=-75.00, -7.50, -6.00,  fx_nimrod_smoke
smoke.2=-75.00,-12.50, -6.00,  fx_nimrod_smoke
smoke.3=-75.00, 12.50, -6.00,  fx_nimrod_smoke
smoke.4=-75.00,  7.50, -6.00,  fx_nimrod_smoke
smoke.5=-75.00,  2.30, -6.00,  fx_nimrod_smoke
smoke.6=-74.00, -2.30, -6.00,  fx_F14_Burnerflame
smoke.7=-74.00, -7.50, -6.00,  fx_F14_Burnerflame
smoke.8=-74.00,-12.50, -6.00,  fx_F14_Burnerflame
smoke.9=-74.00, 12.30, -6.00,  fx_F14_Burnerflame
smoke.10=-74.00, 7.50, -6.00,  fx_F14_Burnerflame
smoke.11=-74.00, 2.30, -6.00,  fx_F14_Burnerflame

NOTE: You have to have the F-14 and the Nimrod for the "fx" I used.  Otherwise, find a sim that you do have with smoke and afterburners, and swap out the "fx_whatever" entries at the end of the lines, six smoke and six flames.

This above quoted lines replaces the original XB-70 [smoke system] section, and the co-ordinates are for FSX.  They will appear cockeyed in FS9, which is no problem if you like "pet meteors".  ;)

Egads!  It's 2-dark-hundred!  where does the time go?  :P
