hello,
I just got a bigger HD (320 gig) and loaded FSX back onto my comp. Last night i added SP1 to it and was thinking about added SP2 but will it work with my video card? It is the BFG 7950 GT OC running DX9. Is SP2 only for DX10?  And if i can run SP2 what are the advantage's over SP1?

Advantages of SP2:
- new features
- new multiplayer
- better performance, especially for terrain blurries
Drawbacks SP2:
- display problems with some FS9 planes

Since you have a whole new and clean FSX+SP1 install, I would recommend you to try the SP2 before installing any addons. You'll be able to uninstall it with no problems afterwhile anyway.
