I have alot of my Posky airplanes and some otherones when Im about to take off and I start my throttle up to 100% they just dose off to the right or left so fast. Im not even 1/4 down the runway and it just turns like crazy?  :-?
Does anyone else have this problem and how do you fix it?

Thanks ;)

It is probably due to your joystick not being calibrated right. I don't believe it is an aircraft problem within POSKY aircraft since I am using some of their planes and it works fine.

Well I dont see how it could be my joystick  :-?
Other airplanes I use dont do it...

I was using the southwest Slamdunk 737-700
and another one was the Austriallan Air Force?

Any other helpp..

Sounds like a case of one throttle idling, and the other, at full..

Calibrate your joystick to make sure..

I have the same problem, albeit with prop aircraft. Try turning the torque effect way down in the realism settings.

Most real aircraft do not require 100% throttle on takeoff.. and if it does you would not firewall it from ZERO normally either

try ramping up like a real pilot would and stop about 80-90% max

I too have noticed the reality setting for torqe and Pfactor a bit off as well especially with the smaller aircraft. You may want to pull back to 75% on thoses

I agree with Nick that in very few aircraft do you ever use full power for takeoff - and in the jets, the pilot is removed from the equation by the use of computer controlled engine power (the FADEC on some types).

However I have a feeling your problem may be something quite different.  On the menu bar within FSX (along the top), choose options, go into settings and then into Controls.  Scan down the list of keyboard assignments.  It is easy to be trapped by assigning your joystick throttle to Engine 1, which then leaves the other or others without throttle input.

Scan down further and you will find something like Throttle All.  Assign this to your joystick throttle and it will operate all throttles at once.

You can always tell by looking at your engine instruments.  When you pull off to one side is only one engine showing indications of torque or revs.  If so, you've assigned your joystick incorrectly.

Okay well I tried that  :(
It must be something with the download..
Im flying with no torch, P-factor or anything like that under realism and im going a slow start to at least 70 to 80 % and the airplane just turns left really really badly?  :-?

Have you ever had a problem like this?

Make sure both engines spool up not just one.

I don't think it is the joystick. I use the keyboard and a couple of my posky plane drift off. I even tried with no realism like p-facotr torque etc but it still happens

I have had this and other various maladies with most, but not all Posky aircraft.  Veer off the runway, no cockpit whatsoever or it doesn't work, other quirky things I can't really remember.

If all of your other planes are working fine (as mine were), just move on to something else.  Know it sucks when it's a plane you really like, but hey it's free.  And sometimes even the NOT free ones don't work!

That was my problem. I just started both engines up (I wasnt sure which one was out) then I took off straight as an arrow.

Thanks  ;)
