hi all

i recently bought flight simulator acceleration pack and couldn't wait to install it. however with less than 2 gb of memory on my hard drive i was not able. :'( So we installed a 250 gb hard drive and put in the acceleration disk in. I clicked install and it comes up with

"to install flight simulator acceleration you must have an english copy of FSX"

But the thing is ..... i do have an english copy and it works perfectly

Please help me.....i really want to fly those carrier missions :'( :'( :'(

thanks in advance
ILKA ;)

Is the new drive just an additional drive, with just FSX fully installed on it?

..and your Windows Operating System, which should contain the new FSX details in its Directory, is still on the original drive?

Paul....G-BPLF... 8-)...!

...make sure you have INSTALLED FSX on the new drive, and not just dragged the Folder over!

Isn't there a problem with changing your Hardware and trying to re-install FSX?

Don't you have to contact Microsoft to Confirm that you own the Copy of FSX which you are trying to install on the SAME MACHINE.....(Copyright Protection)...?

Paul...G-BPLF... ;)...!

FSX sometimes thinks its being installed on someone else's machine...for free!.... :o...!

It would have taken about 45 seconds to edit  the Registry to show where FSX was moved...

How do you edit the registry, how do you find where the registry is for FSX?

There is a file on AVSIM that fixes the path      fsx_reg_utility.zip have a search for it
