General question about posting "tweaks"

Something I find annoying is all these FS9 to FSX "conversions", where the only "converting" that I see is adding a thumbnail to the texture file so it show up in the selection menu.

I know people mean well by trying to help others out, but I also I know where you're coming from. When I download an aircraft that's been 'tweaked' for FSX, I know that may have to fix the alpha channel in texture files, and edit the panel, deleting and/or replacing gauges.
