YACQ (Yet another controller question)

Hey everyone.

I'm in the process of upgrading my sim.

I've purchased some pedals and I'm getting the Saitek Pro Flight yoke & throttle combo. Just wanted to know if FSX will handle the yoke, throttle, pedals AND the old joystick at the same time.

I ask this because I want to use the joystick throttles and toggles for inputs along with those on the yoke/throttle combo.

Also, does FSX support flap adjustments through an axis like a throttle? Using throttles for flaps would be neat  ;)

I've got that joystick and it works great, although I don't know about combining things like that.

Also, I don't think a throttle-type control for flaps would do much... I think most planes (in the game at least) can only retract or extend their flaps in certain set increments.

FSX should be able to handle all at the same time.  I have 4 CH controllers (Pro Throttle, Pro Pedals, Fighterstick and Yoke) all connected and configured for FSX.

FSX doesn't recognize an axis for flap settings, but if you use the Saitek management software you should be able to program an axis to send keystrokes.
