None of my aircraft have shown up after downloads!

I can't get any aircraft to show up after downloading and moving the file folder to the simobjects page.  I think I need to do the alias thing but I can't figure out how to do it exactly

Several suggestions:

1) Make sure you unzip the folders before you use them.

2) Make sure you put all the files in the right places; are you putting the aircraft in under simobjects only? They go in simobjects > airplanes. Also, some downloads have components that need to go in places besides simobjects; read the readme files.

3) The 'alias thing' would only help if you've been downloading planes without panels.

If you know all that, maybe tell us what planes aren't working?

Are you un-zipping the download, and are they FSX downloads?  Could you give an example and source?

If youve done all those and still have a problem at its a fs9 airplane it might be the panel.cfg file. Thats just a suggestion.
