Aircraft not shown
Posted: Sat May 10, 2008 9:47 pmI have installed Milton Shupe's D18S in my FSX "Airplanes" folder and it works quite well .... very nice, and fixed the sounds, instruments and props with the fix apps. So a friend duplicated my exact D18 file structure (even copied the D18SVC folder and all it's sub-folders from my system to his system) running FSX and when you go into "Select Aircraft" on his system, it's not there. I have rechecked his files walking through it over the phone, and he's done it correctly as far as I can tell ... we are both using XP ... and all his other airplanes (including add-ons) work fine. As a test I copied and moved the same D18SVC folder on my working system to a second FSX install on another system at home using XP ... and it works just fine. I must be overlooking something basic here?? I did do a search on the forum but did not find anything. Any help appreciated ... :)
