How To Save Panel Window Positions - 2 screens

Hi All,

I am new, well at least to FSX, I have flown sims in the past. I am pretty impressed. Just getting used to things now and hope to do some perfomance tweaking after I complete some more PC upgrade.

I do have 2 problems, FYI, I tried searching but had no specific results on the forum.

Prob 1
--------
After I spent about a few mins setting up my various panels (ATC, GPS and a 1 custom veiw) on my 2nd monitor I was pretty happy with the layout and saved the fight. I then returned later to fly the same saved flight and only the 1 view panel was open and it had moved back on to monitor #1. Clearly I did not save the right thing. I saved the flight but everything moved or disapeared. Perhaps I need to save the screen layout...??? I'm confused.

Prob 2
-------
When I go in a new flight or a mission, my custom panel layout is not present. This is not surprising since I am in a new flight but still there has surely got to be a way to save all my layouts globaly????

I hate to have to open up, resize and move all my panels before each flight do I?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am going to direct you to a thread where someone made a workaround fix

I cant vouch for it but its there for you to try
