Less trees in FSX?

Hi all,
Is there a way to lower ONLY the number of trees rendered using the cfg file?
I tried the autogen max entry for trees only but saw on reduction???

TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN_TREES_PER_CELL=4500
This should help
TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN_TREES_PER_CELL=3300

Yes, I didn't notice a change unless I also included the buildings entry.

I think that's in fsx.cfg... you need to 'show hidden files'.
