I have just bought a new computer with Vista home premium. I cannot get FSX to install. it won,t even recognise disc one. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it?

No offense but I have seen this, make sure its a DVD drive not a CD drive first.  With that safely out of the way FSX will not insyall for some users who have Norton products, certain copying software and a few other items of software of a similar nature.  Nobody will admit it but its been protected a bit on the heavy side.  Try uninstalling some stuff, install FSX then put the other stuff back on.  You`ll probably get a problem with disk 2 also, usually disk 1 goes ok and disk 2 pretends not to be there.
