Flaps lowering, tell me how

I have an addon aircraft. Its an Abacus airbus a380 for FSX. When i fully extended the flap for landing, i realised that its not low enough. its a bit too high and looks ugly. how can i edit something to make it lower? i reckon it looks better. is it something to do with the aircraft.cfg?
thanks in advance...

I am not 100% sure if you can alter them but if you can look in the aircraft cfg file for this section
This is from the default B737_800

[flaps.0]       //Trailing Edge Flaps
type             = 1                                    // 1 - tail, 2 - lead
span-outboard    = 0.8                                  // 0.0 .. 1.0
extending-time   = 20                                   // seconds
flaps-position.0 = 0                                    // degrees
flaps-position.1 = 1                                    // degrees
flaps-position.2 = 2                                    // degrees
flaps-position.3 = 5                                    // degrees
flaps-position.4 = 10                                   // degrees
flaps-position.5 = 15                                   // degrees
flaps-position.6 = 25                                   // degrees
flaps-position.7 = 30                                   // degrees
flaps-position.8 = 40                                   // degrees
damaging-speed   = 250                                  // KIAS
blowout-speed    = 300                                  // KIAS
lift_scalar = 1.0
drag_scalar = 1.0
pitch_scalar= 1.0
system_type = 1                                         //Hydraulic

[flaps.1]       //Inboard Leading Edge Flaps
type             = 2                                    // 1 - tail, 2 - lead
span-outboard    = 0.8                                  // 0.0 .. 1.0
extending-time   = 2                                    // seconds
flaps-position.0 = 0                                    //

lift_scalar = 1.0
drag_scalar = 1.0
pitch_scalar= 1.0
system_type = 1                                         //Hydraulic

[flaps.2]       //Outboard Leading Edge Slat
type             = 2                                    // 1 - tail, 2 - lead
span-outboard    = 0.8                                  // 0.0 .. 1.0
extending-time   = 3                                    // seconds
flaps-position.0 = 0                                    //
flaps-position.1 = 0.5                                  //
flaps-position.4 = 1.0                                  //
damaging-speed   = 250                                  // KIAS
blowout-speed    = 300                                  // KIAS
lift_scalar = 1.0
drag_scalar = 1.0
pitch_scalar= 1.0
system_type = 1                                         //Hydraulic

I hope this helps. 8-)

I`ve seen this product both separately and in an Airbus Collectors Edition, its mainly the A380 I`m looking at.  If you have the time could you say a few words about it?  Does it look good, fly well?  Of especial interest is the quality of the gauges/panel which doesn`t look so good on the admittedly partly blocked trial version.  Knowing if it works in FSX/SP1/SP2/Acceleration would help, DX10 is probably out of it anyway.

Abacus doesn`t particularly have a good name so I`m being careful over this one.  The whole package of the Collectors Edition is not done by them but the A380 is I believe.  Anything you could let us know would be helpful, since others are asking about the A380 too, thanks.

I am sorry to be terse, but Abacus make great scenery and in my experience poor aircraft.

It was a quick and dirty 380 put on the market even before the real thing was flying.   I consider it to have  been a poor investment.

Felix;  you may be right.  But whoever would expect a 380 to be navigated through the default GPS!

Overland has an excellent a380, it does gave some issues though, some of the guages do not work, but none of them are vital, you can still fly the plane.
