You guys ever set auto pilot on go do something, and when you come back and touch a button or move the mouse, and it glitches and does this:

:D  I don't know if this will help but I used to get that same image when my add-on scenery and/or my scenery setting was more than my system could handle.  I just deleted the scenery that was the culprit or turned my settings down.

I got a brand spanking new 8800-GT with the right 64-bit Vista drivers, and it does this when ever I put it in auto pilot for a long time and then come back and touch it.

And it also did it last year when I was running duel 8500-GTS's with XP. Almost like it is punishing me for leaving the computer unattended to watch TV or make food.

But the game play does not slow down, it's just you can't see where you are landing because every thing on the ground becomes white, and the boxes that he panels are placed in are sold black every where their is open space.

usually takes about 8 times of going from map to sim to map to sim before it re glitches and fixes it self.

Only add ons I have so far are the PMDG 747, and the free planes from here.

This is definitely resources being low... Usually happens when the bus is saturated and can not keep up

Could be brought on by 3rd party FX that are not designed resource friendly. If its default FSX files, its a matter of resources not able to keep up

could also be tied back to background activity such as AV or some other load removing resources

This is really pissing me off, I changed the settings a bit, and not it does it every time I swap to the world map and back, as well the leaving it in auto pilot and swapping back.

I don't have much of any thing running while i'm playing FSX. I have to see if it does it with the stock FSX planes and the PMDG planes.
