Strange "issue" with jet engine noise

Hi all,

Normally, I fly jets very rarely in FSX, since I enjoy more the low and slow exploration with props. However, recently I've been trainning again my instrument-flying skills, and to do so I used some jets.

While flying I noticed a strange sound behaviour for the engines:
- when I'm on the ground, the engine noise varies with the throttle, normal.
- when I'm flying slow, it works the same
- but above a certain speed, although the engine throttle fully reacts to my inputs, the engine sound remains at high throttle, and seem to react only to the speed of the plane. So when I slow down, the engine "throttle sound" decreases.

After investigations, it seems that I can still hear the "real" engine sound, but this one gets masked by an additionnal, louder engine sound that varies only with speed.

Anybody else has this issue ? I supposed I messed up one of my gauges or effects when installing an addon plane (easy overwritter I am :P )...

I say again that the "real" engine throttle continue to work perfectly, so when I cut down the throttle, the plane stops accelerating and starts to decelerate, but the engine sounds act as if the engines were still full throttle... until I reach a certain low-enough speed...  :-?

That may be the sound of the "wind" over the aircraft.  On slow planes you don't really notice it, but once you get fast its very noticable.
