affinity mask for quad core?

Just need to clarify: With Acelleration, do I need to put the JOB SCHEDULER, AFFINITY MASK string in the FSX.cfg and set it to "15" with a Q6600 quad core and XP pro x64 SP2?
I've seen advice to do either, but what's the correct way?

According to Phil Taylor, it is NOT needed unless you have problems. SP2 assigns the cores automatically.

vbaron is correct, with SP2/multicore this tweak is not needed however with single core processors it may still be valid
