I downloaded a windows update which made my Flight Sim X go crazy on me, the aircraft could not be viewed on the free flight screen, or once the game started the whole screen went black. So I uninstalled the update. still doesnt work, so i unistalled flight sim x acceleration, attempted to reinstall now im getting the following message at failed reinstall. Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Acceleration requires the English version of Flight Simulator X., now it won't load or unistall Flight Sim X so im pooched for ideas besides a clean wipe which isnt really a option here.

No other games went wirey on me so im thinking its not the graphics card or my computer in general anybody else had this problem.

I had the same problem and called them and guess solution is...  Re install FSX.  BTW if you do not have vista don't even waste your time installing Acceleration... it is the biggest piece of crap for XP systems.

Many many people are using Acceleration successfully with XP as well as Vista.  Just because you have problems does not necessarily mean everyone will.  It may and probably will be something local to your system that is at fault, or the way the software was installed in the first place.
