Niggling issues

Each time I close down FSX at the end of a session I get a window telling me that FSX shut down involuntarily and that Windows is searching for a reason.  Obviously there is some error in the shut-down procedure and I would be grateful if there is a fix .... which does not include uninstalling!!!

I have tried some long flights in UT and the Australian FTX.  In the case of the former the sim Hangs after a couple of hours - beaut scenery and engine noise, but no motion.  This is similar to the old OOM problem but I have Acceleration SP2 and the command line entry to increase usage to 2900 gigs (I have 4 gigs of RAM installed).

With FTX after a similar time the texture breaks up into squares, triangles and other regular shapes.  After closing down FSX I then have to re-run FTX on-off switch otherwise on restart the textures are still scrambled - the aeroplane window is filled with the texture jumble.

I would be grateful for any advice.

I am  still interested to learn if anyone understands and knows the cure for Microsoft telling me that FSX has closed down involuntarily and is seeking a cause (which it never finds!).......

..... after I have closed FSX deliberately and correctly.

Obviously some element of the application is still alive prompting the message.  If there is a straightforward cleanup available I would be grateful to learn of it.

No clue

those errors can be from a list a mile long

Is there a place in the bax that pops up which allows you to view the error core?
