Hey all.
I have vista and am having a problem adding the aircraft.cfg files. When i copy the lines into the file it wont let me save the changes.
A message comes up that says i cannot create that file and to make sure that the path and file name are correct.
I dont understand because i had no problems doing this with xp.
I appreciate your help on this

You need to:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Select a green tab called "User Accounts and Family Settings"
3. Slect a green tab called "User Accounts"
4. Select a blue tab called "Turn user account on or off"
5. Uncheck the box called "User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer"
You must restart your computer in order for the settings to take affect and be able to change aircraft files.

If you still want the security benefits of having UAC turned on then this is what you need to do before editing the cfg.
1. right click on the aircraft.cfg file and go to properties
2. go to the security tab
3. click "Edit" where it says, "To change permissions, click Edit."
4. Click "Continue" when the UAC windows comes up
5. Highlight "Users" in the Group or user names window
6. Check the box "Full Controll" under permissions for users
7. Click "OK" twice and you are ready to edit your file.
You can do this for any file or folder, it isn't limited to .cfg files. Hope this helps.
