I Have lost waves and wakes on FSX

I fly FS9 and FSX all the time.  Seems I used to have waves on
the lakes and used to see wakes on boats.  I purchase and loaded
FSX accelleration, could I have done something to stop these functions
from working?  Does anyone know what might have stopped them from
working like a setting somewhere?  Waves look good on FS9,
seems like they should work on FSX.   Thanks, Dar Zeller

Install UTX by any chance?

Known issue with UTX USA/CANADA and the EUROPE version has the full fix for it that repairs the entire world, with a patch coming for USA if you dont own Europe right now

Otherwise I have never seen what you are describing unless you installed another addon that changes waves or animations

    Yep, I have UT FSX USA and Canada.  My Vista doesn't like downloads, so I am waiting for the new FSX Europe on DVD to be out
soon per Flight1.  Glad to find out it wasn't some goofy click I did somewhere and I understand how some of these software glitches happen.  I am also waiting for UT FS9 USA on DVD, and Alaska/Canada
for FS9.... I already have the DVD for Europe, and the waves look fine
though boats don't have wakes in FS9 that I know of.

Its UTX

The Europe version has an awesome wave configuration tool to turn them off and on for every waterway in FSX and it does fix the USA issue at the same time


the USA patch is going to have that in it as well
