All of the ai traffic things i have seen are for FS2004. Is there anyway I could change them and make them usable for FSX? Please help :)

If your referring to the ai traffic files (traffic*.bgl's) then AIFPC by Peter van der Veen is a tool you can use to convert the FS9 ai traffic files to FSX format.

It does this by first decompiling the FS9 file into TrafficTools** source text files and then compiling to FSX format.

AIFPC is available in the FS Developer.com-AIFPC forum. Goto page 3, message #57 for the download link.

Note: **Traffic Tools v2.02 (TTools)http://www.simviation.com/fs2004utilities1.htm is the ai traffic file creator/editor for FS2004. If you're interested in creating

I found that www.World-Of-Ai.com is by far the best. I have downloaded all the packages accept the miitary ones.

Huge problem is when you install these packages using the installer provided for by WOAI you find that your default AI is disabled.

Not nice flying in remote areas with empty airports.

So what you need to do is get AIFPC like dave said, then convert the BGL files that the WOAI installer installed into you sim to be FSX compatible.

I did it by installing WOAI into my sim, cut and copied all the BGL files into a folder on my desktop.

I then used AIFPC to create file plans using the BGL's on the desktop. Then converted the flight plans into FSX compatible BGL's. Then cut & paste these bgl's under my addon scenery file.

I now have WOAI and my default planes.

Sounds more complicated then it really is. I suugest u try it out.

Goodluck.

..but would like to make my own for the ones..

For that: Get Traffic Tools, I mentioned above, and use the Readme.htm to guide you thru the process of creating the 3 .txt source files. You then use AIFPC to compile the source files into your FSX 'traffic*.bgl' file (and to decompile back into the source file if/when you need to edit).

You will not use the Traffic Tools compiler (TTools.exe), instead AIFPC does that job for FSX  traffic files.
