I'm pretty sure you have to hold down the ctrl+e for a good 10-20 seconds.

Which Space Shuttle are you talking about?  If it's the Captain Sim one, I don't think you can start the engines.  You can start in space though, or slew up there then re-enter and land.

It is the captain sim space shuttle.

No you can start the space shuttle from the ground there are some movies on youtube of people starting the space shuttle from the ground and fly like that into space.

I really need to know how to work it out I spend so far around 4 hours trying to just to start the engines :(

lol

I just looked at their web site (http://www.captainsim.com/products/s001/) and it says that there is no launch, ascent, or orbital systems.

I'm sure this is a good model, but if you like space simulators, try Orbiter. It's free, but you will need many add-ons to make it go from great to awsome:http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/orbit.html

Omg I can't believe this :( I didn't see that it has no launch mode :(

I am going to try the orbiter, that space shuttle seems to have the launch from ground off .

I am gonna give it a shoot.

Dissapointed I am :(
