World of AI. Look it up in FS2004 AI Aircraft and FS2004 utilities. (Fully FSX compatible)

Just be aware that without some doctoring the WoAI wipes out all default AI in FSX.

Really??? :-? I didn't realize that. I suppose it doesn't really matter though. It replaces it with real world aircraft, and plenty to fill the void of the default aircraft.

I'm just wanting something to tide me over till TrafficX is released this spring. Right now I don't seem to have little if any AI at the gates no matter where I set the Traffic slider in settings. Don't know why, but I'm getting tired of looking at empty airports. How is WoAI on frames?

I have not tried uninstalling anything yet or noticed any change in frame rates. They have lots of good packages and the installer makes adding AI a breeze.

This thread give good info on fixing the default AI issues:

"(Fully FSX compatible)" is not really accurate.
WOAI uses TTools to create the traffic BGL files and thus, they are
'FS9 format'.
FSX uses a slightly different format for it's traffic BGL's created using
the Traffic DataBase Builder.
Although FSX will recognize and use  the FS9 format BGL's,their
presence will cause the FSX AI taffic and boat traffic in the area
covered by the FS9 AI to be deactivated.

The solution to this problem is to run the FS9 format traffic BGL
files through one of the available conversion utilities to convert
them to FSX format. Then your new WOAI traffic will be able to
co-exist with your default FSX traffic as well as the FSX boats.

I'm using several WOAI pacakages as well as most of my FS9
PAI and AIA AI traffic in FSX without  losing the FSX traffic that
I still have enabled. What's more, I create all my own customiized
AI traffic BGL's using TTools and a conversion utility. It's fast,
easy and familiar. Unlike the FSX TDBB which is a PITA to use and
overly restrictive. Only those with INFINITE patience should attempt
to create AI traffic with TDDB....

Same here. I've installed a couple of airlines and everything seams to be working just fine with no notable hit on frame rates. I don't really give a hoot about the FSX default AI traffic.

Is there a way to get WoAI planes to contact ATC?
