FSX Acceleration

I just bought the FSX Acceleration. I already have SP! and SP@ in my FSX Deluxe. Do I have to remove these before installing Acceleration?

From what I have read in the first sticky at the top of this forum you need to start from scratch by uninstalling FSX and go from there. I strongly suggest you read the sticky by Nick. If anyone knows about Acceleration he is the one. Just follow his instructions otherwise you will have problems. 8-)

On my old PC before it blew up, I installed Acceleration over SP1. Not sure if it would work from over SP2...

Go into control panel and remove SP2 then install Acceleration. It would be smarter to start from scratch however.

If you try to install Acceleration over SP2, it will tell you to remove SP2 first via the Add or Removes Programs application in the control panel.
