From what I have read it is possible but one almost has to be a computer expert to do so. Because of the way Microsoft put the files on the disk   they used what are called director files instead of cab files thus making it harder to use. I have seen at least one post about this and the person posting said it could be done. It is just not as easy. 8-)

You can fix it. All you have to do is put in the disc and click repair. It scans the games for missing files and add them in. I am not sure how to repair with FSX Acell tho. Start another topic focused on how to repair FSX Accel.

Thanks everybody for the information. Before I do a Repair can anybody inform me the number of sound files originally have when you install FSX and Acceleration without any additional aircrafts installed.  I need the amount of files inside the folders which are in the sound folder.
