Oil Rigs in Free Flight?

Does anyone know where there is a oil rig (with helipad perferably) in free flight? I tried off the coast of Galveston TX but nothing.

i saw one off by the england channel but i dont know how far off the coast it is, but it was by london maybe a little higher sorry i cant give you more info

You just didn't look in the right places.  ;)

Here is one West of Galveston complete w/a heliport. I knew it was there because it is a real rig. If this isn't the actual rig,  then it is relatively and coincidentally in the same spot as the one we go to. I have a 25' fishing boat and we like to fish off of it. It's a GREAT place for Grouper!

Notice in the picture that my GPS is on and shows the exact location of the rig. If you take-off from "Bay City MUN, Texas" (KBBY) and fly due south, you will fly right into it.

I thought this might help also. Here is a map of known Oil Platform locations in the Gulf of Mexico. You can search other areas of the country/world by simply using "Google Image Search" and typing in for example: "Map of oil platforms in Florida" -or- "off the coast of Florida" (or wherever you are looking for them).

Each number on the map represents an Oil Platform. There are actually WAYYYY more in the gulf than this map shows but, it's a start.
