force feedback 2

:D  Good Morning,  I am using a Microsoft Force Feedback 2 joystick and have just developed a problem within FSX.  When decending from, say 19000 to 12000, on autopilot, my decent rate doesn't funtion too well.  I have to push my joystick forward to begin decent and then it will pick up the rate.  Once at selected altitude it decends to at least 200 to 300 feet below.  On approach, when I disengage autopilot, my decent rate is unstable and at times I have to push the stick all the way forward or pull it all the way back.  I have recalibrated and the joystick works great in FS9.

Part two of the question is;  if for any reason I have to repair FSX can I do so with Acceleration installed or would I have to do a clean install.

:D  Well, I got it figured out but I don't know how.  I deleted the FSX cfg and restarted FSX and all was cured.  Must have been something in the cfg file but for the life of me I don't know what.
