Reinstall or restore video drivers

Just curious as to which is better. Create a restore point and follow NickN's uninstall/clean/reinstall. Then decide I don't like the new driver. Now, just use the restore point to recover the old driver or do the uninstall/clean/reinstall for it?

Thanx,

Vic

I all ways set a restore point before I make any kind of a change that might effect my system, So yes I would set a restore point before you do any thing. I would then follow Nick's advice to the letter.

I agree but my question was - would it be better to USE the restore point to restore the old driver OR use Nick's method to REINSTALL the old driver? Both will work but is one any better?

Use restore points only if required.  Install new is better...but you have to uninstall the old one first.

Thanx, Steve. My question was more out of curiosity than anything else. It only takes a ninute or two to do the complete uninstall/reinstall process anyway so that's what I do.
