Anyone have an idea as to why I can't see out the windows only with addon virtual cockpits?  For instance my F-4 and F-14 windows are white.  With the F-15 I can see everything, but the HUD is blacked out.  This problem seemed to arise when I installed the accelleration expansion pack. Thanks for the help.

SP2 caused a lot of compatibility issues with older addon aircraft. Have you tried finding a newer, and more compatible models?

Some textures made in Makemdl9 (old fs9 format and almost all the planes available (freewares) are made using the makemdl9) some ""TRANSPARECIES"were made using colours insted bmp,and are made using GMAX/3d max COLOURS, Like the windshield.. this will not be renderise FSX alone, without SP2, instead will be a black instead a transparent cristal, or white ..

Also DX10 mode won't work in most of this planes doing things like you just said..

careful though in one of those BETA drivers too..

thanks for the replies, this explains some things.  I keep reading where people say to turn off DX10 preview mode, but unless I've suddenly gone blind I sure don't see anything in settings to do this. Thanks for your time.
