747 issue

Wyizzit that when I create a flight in FSX, using a 747, or sometimes any aircraft, even in flight planner,  it loads with the aircraft A/T on AP on, and engines running at M .60??

I have to hit pause, turn off everything, AP, A/T, lower the setting on speed, then turn pause off, hold the brakes until everything settles down, so I don't  crash into the building....

Any clues? :-?

Try deleting your last saved flight as you probably saved it with Auto Pilot on and it often causes this. Known issue for quite a few releases of FS now (back to 2k2 at least) and still not resolved

Thanks!  I'll check and delete...

I'm also trying NickN's suggestions on cleaning up my system...so far so good!  I hope I don't change some satellite's orbit in the process

Start as normal, set it how you want it and save as default flight (by name).  Start FSX again, open saved flight, select this as default flight, sorted!
